Many of you have asked for a Legislative Agenda, a list of goals for 2025. Here is a non-exhaustive list for this year:
1. Pass Rhode Island SB152, which would allow for Ranked Choice Voting.
2. Pass Massachusetts HD 1228 and SD 2341, which would create single payer universal  health insurance.
3. Pass New Hampshire SB 246 which would provide Postpartum Depression screening for people who recently gave birth.

Many of you have also asked for ways to politically and economically divest from America. NEIC advocates for creating alternative economic and political institutions so that we will be successful as an independent nation in the future. Here is a non-exhaustive list of things we must achieve before we directly push for political secession:
1. Codify each New Englander state as a “State Sovereignty Jurisdiction”.
2. Nullify all federal laws.
3. Create a State Legal Defence Fund in each state.
4. Create a Public Bank in each New Englander state.
5. Make corporations send federal income and payroll tax to the state government, who will hold the money in an escrow account.
6. Create free trade agreements with all other New England states and any friendly nation.
